'I Do designs' 2026

Design Services

We offer personalised wedding stationery and a bespoke design service.  We are happy to personalise any of the designs you find on our website.  If you require a brand-new, bespoke design creating then a £50 design setup fee will apply. For more complex designs, prices may vary. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

All designs created by ‘I Do designs’ remain the intellectual property of ‘I Do designs’ and are subject to copyright.

Minimum Order

Our minimum order value is £100.  Save the Date orders may occasionally fall below this value. In these cases, we may proceed if you intend to order matching invitations. This requirement may be waived at our discretion.

Communication

Where possible, we ask that all communication is conducted via email so there is a clear record for both parties.  If you would prefer to discuss your order by phone, we are happy to do so. However, we may ask that any decisions or confirmations are also provided by email.

Copyright

All designs shown on our website, as well as any samples created, remain the property and copyright of ‘I Do designs’.  These designs may not be copied, reproduced, or used in any form without permission.

Design Protection / Intellectual Property

All designs, templates, proofs, and samples created by ‘I Do designs’ are the exclusive property of ‘I Do designs’ and are protected by copyright law.  By placing an order, you agree that:

  • You will not copy, reproduce, share, or use any design, template, or sample for commercial purposes.
  • You will not send designs to third-party printers without our written permission.
  • Any images of designs shared for personal use (e.g., social media) must credit ‘I Do designs’ if publicly posted.

Unauthorised use of our designs may result in legal action to protect our intellectual property.

Customer Supplied Content

Please ensure you have permission to use any wording, images, hymns, or readings supplied for your stationery.

‘I Do designs’ is not responsible for checking copyright or permissions relating to any materials supplied by the customer.

Advance Bookings

For advance bookings, a non-refundable £50 booking fee is required to secure a place in our schedule. This amount will be deducted from your final payment.

We are often booked many months in advance. Unless your slot has been secured with this booking fee, we cannot guarantee completion by a specific date.  Availability will depend on our schedule at the time your order is placed.

Deposits & Payment

A 50% deposit is required before any work begins.  Work such as wording proofs or ordering materials will not commence until the deposit has been received.

‘I Do designs’ cannot be held responsible for delays caused by late payment of deposits.

Our preferred payment method is bank transfer. Please contact us if you require alternative payment options.

Proofs & Approval

All stationery is printed only from our official proofs.  Wording proofs will be sent to you via PDF by email and must be carefully checked before approval. Please note that we do not always copy and paste wording exactly as supplied, so it is important to check everything thoroughly. 

Your order will not be printed until written approval has been received via email. Verbal approval is not sufficient.

Proof Approval Liability

Once wording proofs have been approved by the customer, ‘I Do designs’ cannot be held responsible for any spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, incorrect dates, or other inaccuracies that were present on the approved proof.

Proof Revisions

Your order includes three wording proof revisions.

Any additional revisions will be charged at £5 per update.

Handmade Items

All stationery items are handmade, so slight variations may occur.

Some designs include small embellishments which may not be suitable for young children. Where larger embellishments are used, we may recommend appropriate postal packaging (for example, invitation boxes).

‘I Do designs’ cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs after the stationery has been posted by you to your guests.

Colour Variations

Please note that colours may appear differently on various screens, devices, and printers. While we make every effort to ensure colours are as accurate as possible, slight variations between what you see on screen and the final printed product may occur.

Variations may also occur between different print runs and materials used. These variations are considered normal and are not classed as faults.

Production Timeframes

Production time will vary depending on the complexity of the design, the quantity ordered, and our current workload.  Estimated timescales will be discussed when your order is placed. However, production will only begin once your deposit has been received, and your wording proofs have been approved.

‘I Do designs’ cannot be held responsible for delays caused by:

  • Late approval of proofs
  • Late payment
  • Changes requested after approval
  • Delays from suppliers or delivery companies

If you have a specific deadline, please let us know when placing your order so we can advise whether this can be accommodated.

Branding

All items will include some form of ‘I Do designs’ branding.  If you would like to discuss this further, please contact us before placing your order.

Cancellations

If an order is cancelled, the deposit is non-refundable.  If an order is cancelled after production has begun, any work carried out that exceeds the deposit amount must also be paid for.

Consumer Rights and Returns (Personalised Items)

All stationery produced by ‘I Do designs’ is personalised and made to order.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, personalised or bespoke items are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation and return period that applies to non-personalised goods purchased online.

This means that once work has started on your order, or materials have been ordered specifically for your stationery, the order cannot be cancelled or returned simply because you have changed your mind.

Customers are responsible for carefully checking and approving all wording proofs before printing. Once approval has been given and production has begun, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors that were approved.

This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order so that we can investigate and resolve the issue. In most cases, replacement items will be offered as the first solution.  Because each order is personalised, refunds are generally not available unless items are confirmed to be faulty.

Wedding Postponements or Date Changes

If your wedding date changes after stationery has already been produced, we will do our best to help with replacement items where possible.

However, as all stationery is personalised and made to order, previously printed items cannot usually be refunded. Any replacement stationery required due to a date change may incur additional charges.

Force Majeure (Events Outside Our Control)

‘I Do designs’ will not be held liable for delays or failure to fulfil an order due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • Severe weather
  • Illness or emergency
  • Supplier or material shortages
  • Courier or postal delays
  • Government restrictions or unforeseen events

In such cases we will always communicate with you and make every reasonable effort to complete your order as soon as possible.

Promotions & Discounts

‘I Do designs’ reserves the right to withdraw promotions or discounts at any time without prior notice. 

Because each item is hand-crafted, discounts are generally not available. However, we do provide the following included services:

  • One free personalised sample
  • One consultation (additional meetings charged at £25 per hour)
  • Three wording proof revisions
  • Personalisation at no extra charge

For orders of over 100 Save the Dates or invitations, we may consider reviewing the pricing.

Photography, Social Media & Promotion

By placing an order with ‘I Do designs’, you agree that:

  • ‘I Do designs’ may use photos of your completed stationery for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media, and marketing materials.
  • We will take care to hide sensitive information, such as addresses, where possible. However, names, wedding dates, and other non-sensitive details may be visible.
  • If you prefer your order not to be shared, please notify us in writing before your order is finalised.

Customers are welcome to share photos of their stationery online. If sharing publicly, we ask that you credit ‘I Do designs’ where appropriate.

Final Payment

Once your order is complete you will be notified.  The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to dispatch.  All items remain the property of ‘I Do designs’ until full payment has been received.

Delivery

Delivery of completed orders, within mainland UK, is usually arranged via a next working day courier service.  Charges apply – which will be confirmed during the quotation stage.

If you are outside mainland UK, or require Saturday or timed delivery, please contact us for a quotation.

Local collection from either Cheadle Hulme or Hazel Grove, Stockport may be arranged by appointment only.

Currently, ‘I Do designs’ ships primarily within the UK.  International shipping may be considered on request. Please contact us for a quotation before placing your order.  We reserve the right to decline any international order at our discretion. Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import charges that may apply in their country.

Damage or Issues

All orders are packed carefully to prevent damage during transit.  Any damage, discrepancies, or issues must be reported within 24 hours of receipt. 

If there is a problem with your order or any items are faulty, please contact us within this timeframe. We will always aim to resolve the issue, with replacements typically being the initial solution.

Right to Refuse Service

‘I Do designs’ reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order if communication becomes abusive, unreasonable, or if requests fall outside the scope of our services. In such circumstances, any work already completed will be chargeable.
