What is a Wedding QR Code for Photos?
We’ve all seen an increased uptake in the use of QR codes, whether it’s in restaurants (controversial!) or on your TV when you’re trying to sign into Netflix for the 1,000th time! They’re actually a really convenient way of directing people to a dedicated website without the need to type out a specific domain name. Domain names can often be long-winded and sometimes easy to misspell – so a QR code takes away some of the hassle for people.
For a couple getting married a QR code for Photos can be used to direct your guests directly to your ‘wedding website’. This is a really fun way to gather lots of photos that your wedding photgrapher may otherwise miss.

How many QR Code Signs do you need?
The amount of QR Code Signs you’ll need for your wedding depends on how big you want the sign(s) to be and where you want them locating. We can print any size upto A1 (59.4 x 84.1cm). For example, you may just want one A1 board in a prominent position or maybe one on each guest table during your wedding breakfast.
What Size are QR Code Signs?
So, as we mentioned above, QR Code Signs can be printed any size upto A1. Popular sizes are:
A5 – On the back of Table Name Signs
A4 – Smaller signs on easels dotted around venue locations such as on the bar, cake table etc.
A3 – Slightly larger signs for bigger table setups.
A2 – Half the size of A1, these will need a free-standing easel in a prominent position.
A1 – The largest size available – these will definitely need a free-standing floor easel.
How Much do QR Code Signs cost?
The cost of your QR Code signs will vary quite significantly depending on what size you choose. They can range from anywhere between £10 – £85 on average. We will confirm exact pricing once we know the details and any printing requirements.

Do you have to have QR Code Photo signs?
No – not at all. Having a QR Code for your wedding guest photos is a personal choice. Some weddings are ‘unplugged’ and guests are actively encouraged NOT to take photos. However, if you would love your guests to get involved then giving them a specific upload link for sharing can be really good fun! They’ll certainly be more .. umm .. ‘candid’ than your official photograher’s!
When to Order your QR Code Signs
Planning a wedding can be overwhelming and we’re happy to fit in with your timeline. We usually require around 4-6 week’s notice for day stationery items such as QR Code signs. This allows us plenty of time to finalise your design and colours.
In terms of other wedding stationery items we recommend sending save the dates around 12-18 months before your wedding day and wedding invitations around 6-12 months.

How to Order
If you would like to go ahead with an order then that’s amazing. We’ll prepare the proofs for approval and paperwork for you. We require a 50% deposit and the balance on completion, prior to shipping. We are happy to work with you to finalise your design until you’re ready to order.
How to Generate a Wedding QR Code
Most wedding photo sharing websites will provide you with the QR Code. You simply need to send us a .jpg or .png copy of this and we can use that on any of our designs for you. Alternatively please contact us and we can generate a QR Code for you. Please note that there are limitations with QR Code design but we can help you with this.
