Pocketfold Wedding Invitations are one of our most popular designs.  They fold open to reveal your invitation fixed inside with loose information cards neatly stacked inside a built-in pocket.

They are a versatile option as they come in a variety of designs and can include a lot of guest information about your wedding day.

Key Components of the Pocketfold Invites

All of our pocketfold wedding invitations feature a fixed invitation insert and upto 3 loose inserts neatly stacked inside the pocket.

These loose cards can hold an array of information, including an RSVP postcard, Accommodation details, Menu options, local Taxi details, Gift wording and Dress-Codes etc.  If you need to provide your guests with a lot of information we also offer double-sided printing to each card.

Further Personalisation

Pocketfold wedding invitations can easily be personalised to match your wedding theme.  Many of our design ideas feature a personalised ‘plaque’ on the front, which can be printed or foiled.  Other embellishments such as ribbon, lace, bows, glitter, diamantes, pearls or buckles are also available.

As with all our invitations, we can customise any of our designs to suit your wedding theme and colour scheme. Or if you prefer, we can create something completely unique.

Our standard, square Pocketfold wedding invitations measure 145 x 145mm when folded.

We also have oblong, smaller and larger sizes available on request.

When should I order my Pocketfold Wedding Invitations

Wedding Invitations are traditionally sent out 12 weeks prior to your date – but it is not uncommon for invitations to be sent out 6 months prior, or even earlier if your wedding is abroad, or at a busy time of year.

The process for buying wedding invitations with us is simple:

  • Search through our extensive designs and ideas
  • Request a sample through the website sample request form
  • We will then contact you for a design consultation

What is the average turnaround time for orders?

At ‘I Do designs’ we can usually process orders within 3-4 weeks. If you require your order faster, please get in touch and we will check our production schedule.

Some projects may take a little longer if there is a lot of design work involved.

What information goes on the loose inserts?

Our Pocketfold style wedding invites are supplied with the main invitation card fixed inside and upto 3 loose inserts.

 4 inserts would be too tight and wouldn’t comfortably fit inside the pocket.

What information goes on an RSVP Card?

Traditionally RSVP cards should include the following:

  • Space for the Guest Names
  • Accept/Decline Tick Boxes
  • A Reply Deadline Date
  • Special Dietary Requirements
  • A Return Address

More recent additions are:

  • Space for Menu Choices (if you have provided options)
  • A Song Request
  • Alternative Contact Details such as an email address, telephone number or a dedicated wedding website
Can we include requests for monetary gifts?

Traditionally, wedding gifts were to help set up the newly married couples first home.

Recently more couples live together before they marry, so have most of the things they need.

Requests for monetary gifts or a contribution towards a honeymoon are becoming more and more popular.

There are various ways to politely request monetary gifts, including with gift poems.

We have a large database of gift poems to choose from.  Ask us to send you a copy for some ideas and inspiration.

Wedding gift-registry-websites and locked post-boxes are popular as they are a convenient way for your guests to offer a cash gift.
