Virtual Wedding Fayre
Bringing the Wedding Fayre To You.
Last month we were contacted by a company called Bouquet and Bells inviting us to take part in a Virtual Wedding Fayre they were organising. Their aim was at this difficult time to ‘continue to support as many businesses as possible and continue to connect them to engaged and actively planning couples – taking wedding fayres to the customer’
They wanted to create a forum where suppliers could showcase their products/services direct to engaged couples and vice versa.
What a brilliant idea!
Yes, we would love to be part of it!
So we were, and it was!
The event was really well organised throughout and was a simple process to join for both suppliers and brides to be.
We were asked to provide the content for our post – text, photos and videos etc. Our only other job was to promote the event as much as possible through all avenues. Brides-to-be join the group via clicking on a link and, bingo!– the basis of a great event!
On the day Bouquet and Bells were super organised and they added the suppliers at regular intervals. It gave the brides chance to read each supplier’s post and ask any questions they had. There was even live music throughout the day – it was brilliant!
I have to say we were surprised at how well it went. Don’t underestimate the power of social media and how useful it can be especially at a time like this!
This virtual wedding fayre would not have been able to take place if it wasn’t for the forward thinking of Bouquet and Bells and for all the lovely companies that supported the fayre and took part.
Following the success of the first fayre Bouquet and Bells have decided to host another Virtual Wedding Fayre.
The Next Fayre will be on – Sunday 26th April
This time it’s bigger and better with lots of new suppliers. There will be:
• free digital goody bags
• fantastic prizes to be won throughout the day
• free online copy of Bouquet and Bells new bridal magazine
• live music performances
• special offers and discounts from wedding suppliers
• free essential planning resources
All suppliers involved are offering customers from the fayre special discounts.

Being part of this event has made us reflect upon the situation we are all faced with. Life has changed and for us to move forward we need to change too, adapt to a new way of working and living. We are forced to think outside the box; how can we carry on with our lives and businesses in these new circumstances we find ourselves in?
We will come out of this a different nation – but in a good way, we will be a better nation.
The important things in life will come to be fully appreciated once again; family, friends, social interactions, the sunshine, blue skies, the wonders of technology and ‘virtual’ interactions. We need to take this time to reflect, change our habits of a lifetime and make new habits for our new life once we emerge from our hibernations. We can and will grow, we will become something greater – together.
